3. Missing Beagle Puppy

You probably all know the end of my last post's story. We bought her, and gave her a nice home. It was the best year of my life.I finally got a puppy. I find myself responsible for her knowing so many tricks today, sit, stay, rollover, come, where to pee, speak,..

We bought her a doggy house when she was 4 months old, however she prefers the barrel to the new house. We didn't mind, there were cold days when the sun light was directly on the house, those were the days she would sleep in it.

We have a big yard, a perfect place previously owned by Kitty, a black and white cat. When Ena arrived, she brutally called it hers. Kitty didn't mind, she then called the inside hers, because Ena isn't allowed there.

One day, it was a cold Saturday.  I went out to feed Ena. She didn't come to greet me, I though she was on the end of the yard, looking at the kids on the football field. I have realised she has escaped. AGAIN. I always know where she goes, however this time she wasn't there. we couldn't find it, so we searched the entire neighborhood.Nothing. My family and I were desperate. Mostly me. We all knew she knows how to jump over the fence, but she would never be missing for more that 30minutes. We made flayers, and got many calls, but neither one of the descriptions matched Ena.  One. MATCHED. I was coming back from school and passed the places the flayers were. They were ripped, drawn over and dirty. My eyes filled with tears again. "Nobody cares".

Our front door was from hard glass. When Ena was there, if I would ring it, she would be the first I would see coming to the door. This time, I though she wouldn't,m since she is missing. On my surprise, I saw a very familiar shade coming to the door. I screamed. She was found by a family of 4. The whole street was 'awaken' by my scream, and I chased Ena around the front yard.

Today, we have extra gates, and we hired people to make the the gates around the yard 'Enaproof'.
I ♥ you Ena!
